Be sure to calculate the total weight including the boat, the engine, a full fuel tank (approximately 7 lbs. per gallon), full water tanks (if any) and your personal gear.

Measure along the center line of your boat, (including the bow pulpit, if so equipped) and excluding any swimming platforms, or "European" type transoms.

To select an appropriate beam width, you will need to measure the width of your boat at its widest point.
